Licensing and Pricing

WindowMizer 6 discontinues Subscription licensing. Only "Version" licenses are offered.

Version licenses include the current "major" version of the app, plus any minor or "point" updates. So, when purchasing WindowMizer 6, you will receive free updates until version 7. For example: version 6.9.9 would be free, whereas version 7.0 will require an upgrade.

Reasons for discontinuing Subscriptions:

• Everyone hates Subscriptions.
• Subscription licenses require more "phoning home" than Version licenses.
• Subscription licenses are paid in advance (for 1 year), whereas Version licenses are paying for the current "major" version of the app.
• If an Apple update breaks WindowMizer, we will attempt to fix the issue in a timely manner and release a "minor" update.

Licensing:

• WindowMizer 6 is a PAID upgrade.
• WindowMizer 6 does not offer subscription licenses.
• WindowMizer 6 offers "Major Version" licenses only.

Pricing (subject to change):

• New Version 6 License: $25.00 (macOS Sequoia 15.x and higher)
• Upgrade v5 to v6: $20.00 (non-subscriptions)
• Upgrade v5 to v6: $15.00 (subscriptions)
• WindowMizer v5 (new): No such thing. Purchase or upgrade to v6 and use v6 key to activate v5 or v6. (Mac OS X 10.12 - macOS Sonoma 14.x)
• WindowMizer v4: Free but unsupported (Mac OS X 10.6 - 10.12).

Subscription licenses will be updated to a Version license, and the subscription will be cancelled. So, when upgrading from a Subscription, it will be your final payment. No more recurring payments!
