Problems with Expanding Browsers And Mail

I am running OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite with current versions of Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

On all three of these browsers, I can collapse a window, but I cannot then expand it. I have the same problem with Mail. Is there possibly some setting that I have incorrect.

I haven't tested extensively, but I can collapse and expand widows in TexEdit and Acrobat and cannot expand with GraphicConverter. What is the secret to getting all windows to collapse and expand?

WindowMizer 4.3.1 has a known bug that exists when your Dock is positioned on the right-side of your display. I am working hard to release the next update which concentrates on the "Move Off-Screen" feature.

For now, there are 2 ways to fix the issue:

1) Position the Dock on the bottom of the screen.
This is done is System Preferences > Dock panel

OR

2) On WindowMizer Advanced Preferences panel, change "Destination of Original Window" to "Minimize to Dock".

"Minimize to Dock" is considerably slower than "Move Off-screen", but it does fix the issue of windows not restoring. More details on the difference between these 2 modes can be viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16.

Hope that helps,
Chris

I have checked "minimize to dock" as instructed. My dock is on the right side of my screen & I really don't want to have to move the dock. "Minimize to dock" hasn't helped. I cannot expand windows after minimizing them. I've had this problem only after recently updating Windowimizer. I would love to go back to the previous version, but don't see any way to do this on the website. Can anyone tell me how?

I have fixed the Dock Positioning bug. Please upgrade to WindowMizer version 4.4 using the "Check for Updates" menu item.

The Dock can now be positioned on the left, right or bottom edge of the screen and you can still use the faster "Move Off-screen" window handling.
